We are a storytelling & worldbuilding project that utilizes the power of generative imagery mixed with traditional digital art techniques to explore new worlds and tell the stories found within them. Q: What are the Annex numbers? What do they mean?
A: When our Archivists pull files, they do so from any of the multitudes of universes that surround our Archive. The Annex # signifies the universe the file has been pulled from. You, dear reader, occupy universe A-0001A - the prime reality of our collection. The further the annex # of the story is from, the more difference there is between the universe of the story and your own. For instance, a story from universe A-5421D takes place in a world very much like your own - while a story from universe M-3204J will take place in a world so different from yours that it defies recognition.
Q: Can I become an Archivist?
A: You certainly can! (In a way). At the moment, becoming an archivist simply means choosing to support the archive by subscribing to our Patreon. Doing this gets you access to a plethora of unseen content and stories - all of which are only shared with the Patreon community of Conservators, Archivists, and Curators.
Q: Can I read these stories anywhere else?
A: We post our stories on tik tok and Instagram primarily - those are the best places to see our stories as we release them! We are working on creating a repository on this site, but it will be a bit before that’s ready for access.
Q: Will you make these stories into a book?
A: We’re working on it! The Archive in Between Compendium Vol. 1 will be available by February 1st 2023.
